Welcome to our Medication Refresher Course in Developmental Services. This yearly refresher is designed for developmental services staff, including nurses, developmental service workers, and personal support workers. It provides an annual review of the key principles and safe practices covered in our comprehensive 8-module medication course.

Through clear explanations and practical review, you will revisit the fundamentals of medication administration, including principles of safe practice, MAR and documentation, administration procedures, controlled substances, PRN medications, and safety protocols. The course also reinforces best practices for preventing medication errors and maintaining compliance with agency standards.

By the end of this course, you will have refreshed your knowledge and confidence in medication administration, ensuring safe and effective support for the individuals in your care.
