Welcome to our comprehensive course on Oral Suctioning in Developmental Services. This training is designed for developmental services staff, including nurses, developmental service workers, and personal support workers. It provides the theoretical knowledge needed to safely and effectively perform oral suctioning for individuals requiring respiratory support.
Through clear explanations and step-by-step guidance, you will gain a foundational understanding of the respiratory system, what oral suctioning is, and when it is required. The course also covers how to carry out the procedure safely and how to properly care for medical equipment used in oral suctioning.
